Like most specialty providers, I am in-network with some insurance companies and also offer cash-pay services.

Insurance information

I accept some insurance plans. This means that if your insurance plan is one of the ones I accept, you will not be responsible for paying for each session in full. Instead, your insurance company will cover a portion of the cost of your care, and you will only be responsible for any copays or deductibles that apply to your plan. To find out if your insurance plan is one that I accept, you can check my website or your insurance provider's website. I will be happy to provide more information and help you determine if your insurance plan is one that I accept. If your insurance plan is not one that I accept, you can still receive treatment from me through out-of-network benefits. This means that you will be responsible for paying for each session in full, but you may be able to receive reimbursement from your insurance company for a portion of the cost. You can find out more about out-of-network benefits by calling your insurance company or discussing it with me directly.

Out-of-network benefits

Out-of-network benefits are a type of insurance coverage that allows you to receive care from providers who are not in your insurance company's network. This means that you are not limited to seeing providers who are in-network, and you can choose to see a provider who may be better suited to your needs, even if they are not in your insurance company's network. When using out-of-network benefits, you will be responsible for paying for each session in full at the time of your appointment. Your insurance company may then reimburse you for a portion of the cost of your care, typically 60-80%. To find out if you have out-of-network benefits and how much you may be reimbursed, it's best to call your insurance company and ask. You can ask questions such as: Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage? What is my out-of-network deductible? How much of my deductible has been met this year? How much will I be reimbursed for a psychotherapy session? How much will I be reimbursed for a psychiatric evaluation? How much will I be reimbursed for a medication management follow-up? How do I submit a super bill for reimbursement? How long does it take for me to receive reimbursement? If you are unsure of what questions to ask, you can also ask your provider for guidance. They may be able to provide more specific information about the reimbursement rates for the services you are receiving.
